Rhiannon is experienced at delivering events and aims to focus on our families being the most important people to attend our events.
The Cross Party Group for Gypsies and Travellers was established again in 2024, with Julie Morgan MS as the Chair and a member of Our Voices as the Co-Chair, with There and Back Again CIC as the Secretariat. The Cross Party Group prioritised the voices of our families, and professionals were given the opportunity to attend to hear directly from families. Our families all spoke clearly about their experiences and the changes they needed to see happen. We also took the Cross Party Group out to sites across South and West Wales. We are always looking for new ways to work, and trying to improve our practice to keep moving forward.

Ann and Rhiannon were both invited to be a part of the panel discussion and deliver Engaging and Supporting Gypsy and Traveller Families in the Housing Sector. We are extremely proud of Ann who is speaking out and sharing her experience of being homeless, and advocating for changes to the homelessness policies in Wales. We had encouraging feedback from the event for Ann:

Our Voices were able to attend our Coffee & Cake sessions at the Senedd, Ty Hywel and Cardiff County Hall. There and Back Again CIC strongly believes in informal chats being more effective than formal meetings.
